A historical Dargha (Tomb) of a saint Chaman shah wali baba is situated on the foot of 'Nakti Dangar' hill towards the East of Jeypore town in Koraput district.
This is a shrinwe of the muslim community who gather here every year and pay floral tributes. Prophet mohhammed's birthday is celebrated here.

Boat race

'Parab' is a great event organised by the District Council of Cultute, Koraput every year at Jagannath Sagar, Participants ride rowing boats and cross the competition limits. The pond marks the historical past of Jeypore town.


The Historical Jeypore City in Orissa is rich with ancient temples and modern architechs. Jagannath Sagar; the biggest water tank draws a lot of attractions. It was made by the then Maharajahs of Jeypore kingdom to meet the water needs of the people. Once the pond was made on moren then 500 acres of land is reduced by size. It draws attention for care.
